Westlake Village Home Theater and Smart Home Design

From lakefront homes to the executive office, technology that feels effortless.

We design the light, sound, air, controls, and other technology of Westlake Village homes and workplaces as one system, set to how each space should feel and perform. We've built a 54-seat private cinema in Westlake, and our studio is one exit away in Agoura Hills.

Light on the water. Sound across the lake.

The setting is beautiful. It also comes inside.

Morning light off the lake can be stunning in the kitchen and harsh on a screen. Sound travels over open water, from neighbors, docks, and the evening breeze. Hillside homes catch the afternoon sun and the hum of the 101. A home here should be designed to keep the view and manage everything that comes with it.

How we design every space.

Our method, and the software we built to run it.

UX for Spaces is the method we developed to set human performance targets for each space, whether that's sleep, focus, comfort, or gathering. Particle, our acoustics software, models a cinema or office before it's built. Aperture, the design platform we created, is used by the Calm Tech Institute.

Cinemas and offices held to a real standard.

Measured, calibrated, and documented.

We set targets for each space: reference sound and darkness in the cinema, speech clarity on video calls in the home or executive office, glare control on lakeside glass, quiet in the bedrooms. Each system is chosen to meet those targets and verified when the work is complete.

Movie night, dinner on the deck, a Monday morning call.

Each one set with a single press.

The cinema dims and the sound comes up. The deck lights and music come on as the sun sets over the lake. The office is ready for a call before you sit down. A few keypads, one app, and a team close by that keeps it running.

Every detail decided before the first wire.

Briefs, drawings, and acoustic models.

Each space gets a plain-language brief. Your architect and builder get drawings with every screen, speaker, keypad, shade pocket, and equipment space placed. Cinemas and offices are modeled acoustically before construction, then measured and calibrated at the end.

A great cinema starts with the structure.

Plan it before the walls and floors are set.

Isolation, room dimensions, seating risers, and sightlines are decided on paper. So are the equipment room and the conduit to the deck. Planned early, they cost little. Changed later, they cost a great deal.

Part of your design team.

Homes, offices, and everything in between.

We coordinate with architects, builders, and interior designers, and with facilities teams on executive offices. We work throughout Westlake Village, including Westlake Island, First Point, Three Springs, and North Ranch, and across the Conejo Valley.

Spaces we've shaped.

In Westlake, a private cinema with 54 seats across six tiered rows. Our Dolby Atmos studio in Agoura Hills, open to visit. A Camarillo private club that moves from breakfast service to a wedding reception from one interface. A 25,000 square foot Bel Air estate with forty audio zones, a Dolby Atmos creative campus in Miami, and residences in Calabasas, Topanga, and Brentwood.

Let's talk about your space.

A home, a cinema, or an office.

Tell us where your project stands and how you want to live in the home. Plans are welcome, never required.
