Ventura County Home Automation and Technology Design
Coast, valley, and ranch. One team that designs for all of it.
We design the light, sound, air, controls, and other technology of homes, hospitality, and workplaces across Ventura County as one system, set to how each space should feel. Our studio sits just across the county line in Agoura Hills, and we've worked throughout the county for nearly two decades.

Every part of the county asks something different.
Salt air, valley heat, and long ranch drives.
On the coast, salt air and ocean glare are hard on equipment and on eyes. Inland, summer heat and big temperature swings test the climate system. On ranch and estate properties, the network has to reach barns, gates, and guest houses a long way from the main house. Good design starts with knowing which of these your home faces.
The same method, adapted to every place.
Developed by Blend, with software we built to carry it out.
UX for Spaces is our method for setting human performance targets for each space and designing every technology layer to meet them. Particle, our acoustics software, models how a cinema, dining room, or office will sound before it's built. Aperture, the design platform we created, is used by the Calm Tech Institute.

Targets set for your conditions.
Then measured on site.
We define what each space must deliver: glare control on coastal glass, a bedroom that stays cool through an inland heat wave, coverage to the far edge of a ranch, reference sound in the cinema, clear speech in a busy dining room. Systems are selected to meet those targets and verified after installation.

Simple to run, wherever you are.
At home, on the road, or across the property.
Lights, shades, climate, music, gates, and cameras run from a few keypads and one app. The house is ready before you arrive. We can see the system remotely and often address issues before you notice them, and our team covers the county from the 101 corridor.

A plan for the whole property.
Briefs, drawings, and a measured finish.
Each space gets a plain-language brief. Your architect and builder get drawings that place every keypad, speaker, shade pocket, rack, and conduit run, including the long ones on larger properties. Every project ends with measurement, calibration, and documentation.
Early decisions matter most on larger properties.
Before framing, trenching, and hardscape.
Runs to outbuildings and gates, equipment rooms that stay cool, shade pockets in the ceilings, and isolation for a cinema are all simple on paper. Once the walls close or the concrete is poured, each one becomes its own project.

Your partner across the county.
With your architect, builder, and operators.
We coordinate with architects, builders, interior designers, landscape teams, and hospitality operators. We work throughout Ventura County, including Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Lake Sherwood, Oak Park, Newbury Park, Camarillo, Somis, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Ventura, Ojai, and the coast.
Spaces we've shaped.
In Camarillo, a private club that moves from breakfast service to a wedding reception from one interface. In Westlake, a 54-seat private cinema. Close by, our Dolby Atmos studio in Agoura Hills, open to visit. Beyond, a 25,000 square foot Bel Air estate with forty audio zones, a Dolby Atmos creative campus in Miami, and residences in Calabasas, Topanga, and Brentwood.
Tell us where you are.
And what you'd like your home or space to do.
Tell us where your project stands and how you want to live in the home. Plans are welcome, never required.
