Calabasas Home Automation and Technology Design

Your home technology, designed by a team ten minutes away.

We design the light, sound, air, controls, and other technology of Calabasas homes as one system, set to how each room should feel. Our studio is just up the 101 in Agoura Hills, so the people who design your home are the same people who care for it.

A home in the hills has its own conditions.

Heat, sun, and the freeway all reach inside.

Summer afternoons push heat through west-facing glass. Evenings cool fast, and the house has to keep up. The hum of the 101 travels farther than people expect, especially at night. Each of these shapes how well you sleep, how a room feels at 5 p.m., and whether the family room is somewhere people want to be.

We wrote the method we design by.

And built the software to put it into practice.

UX for Spaces is our method for setting measurable human performance targets in every room, then designing each technology layer to meet them. Particle, our acoustic modeling software, shows how a room will sound before it's built. Aperture, our design platform, is used by the Calm Tech Institute.

Comfort you can measure.

Temperature, light, sound, and air, set room by room.

We define what each space has to deliver: the temperature in the primary suite at night, the light level in the kitchen at dinner, the quiet in an office facing the freeway, the sound in the media room. Systems are selected to hit those numbers, and we check them after the home is complete.

One home, one simple way to run it.

For the whole family, guests included.

Lights, shades, music, climate, cameras, and gates all answer to the same keypads and app. The kids can start a movie. Guests can find the lights. The house cools before you're home and settles down when everyone goes to bed. And if something needs attention, we're close enough to be there the same day.

A clear plan before any work starts.

Whether you're building new or updating the home you love.

New construction gets a written brief and drawings your builder can build from. Remodels and upgrades get a plan that works with what's already in the walls, so we replace what needs replacing and keep what still works. Either way, we finish by measuring, calibrating, and handing over a system that's documented.

Earlier is easier, and it's never too late.

Plans, framing, or a finished home, we start where you are.

On a new build, the best time is before framing, when wiring, shade pockets, and equipment space cost little to plan. In an existing home, careful design still lets us add a cinema, upgrade control, or quiet a bedroom without tearing the house apart.

We work with your architect, builder, and HOA.

Good technology respects the architecture and the community.

We coordinate with your design team and keep exterior equipment, antennas, and speakers within your community's guidelines. We work throughout Calabasas, including The Oaks, Calabasas Park, Mont Calabasas, and Monte Nido, and in neighboring Hidden Hills.

Spaces we've shaped.

Our work includes a Calabasas residence and, close by, a 54-seat private cinema in Westlake and homes in Topanga and Brentwood.

Farther out, a 25,000 square foot Bel Air estate with forty audio zones on one keypad, a Dolby Atmos creative campus in Miami, and a Camarillo private club run from one interface. Our Dolby Atmos studio in Agoura Hills is open to visit.

Start with a conversation.

We're close by, and happy to come see the house.

Tell us where your project stands and how you want to live in the home. Plans are welcome, never required.
