Agoura Hills Smart Home and Technology Design
Our home town. Our studio is down the street.
We design the light, sound, air, controls, and other technology of Agoura Hills homes as one system, set to how each room should feel. Blend has been based here since 2006, so the team that designs your home lives and works a few minutes away and is there for the life of the system.

We know these houses.
The canyon heat, the 101, the long views.
Afternoon sun bakes west-facing rooms through the summer. The freeway hum carries up the hillsides at night. Many homes here were built before anyone planned for a network, a cinema, or shades that move on their own. We've worked in these neighborhoods for nearly two decades, and we design for the way they actually live.
Developed right here in Agoura Hills.
The method, the software, and the studio behind them.
UX for Spaces, our design method, was developed in our Agoura Hills studio. It sets human performance targets for sleep, focus, comfort, and gathering, then designs each technology layer to meet them. Particle, our acoustics software, models how a room will sound before it's built. Aperture, the design platform we created, is used by the Calm Tech Institute.

Every room has a goal, and a number.
Then we measure it.
We set targets for how cool the bedroom stays on a 100 degree night, how quiet the office is with the freeway nearby, how the light shifts through the day, how the media room sounds. Systems are chosen to meet them, and every room is measured when the work is done.

Simple to live with. Close enough to count on.
When something needs attention, we're minutes away.
Lights, shades, music, climate, cameras, and the front gate run from a few keypads and one app. The house cools before you get home and quiets down at night. If anything needs a look, our team is local and close by.

A clear plan, new build or remodel.
Written, drawn, and measured.
Each space gets a plain-language brief. New homes get drawings your builder builds from. Existing homes get a plan that uses what's already in the walls wherever it still works. Every project ends with measurement, calibration, and documentation.
Start wherever you are.
Plans on the table, walls open, or a finished home.
Before framing is the easiest time to plan wiring, shade pockets, and a proper equipment space. During a remodel, open walls are an opportunity. In a finished home, careful design still lets us add control, a cinema, or quiet without disruption.

Your local design and build partner.
We work with the architects and builders you already know.
We coordinate with architects, builders, and designers across the Conejo Valley and keep the technology in service of their design. We work throughout Agoura Hills, including Old Agoura, Morrison Ranch, Lake Lindero, and Liberty Canyon, and in neighboring Oak Park and Westlake Village.
Spaces we've shaped.
Our own Dolby Atmos studio in Agoura Hills, open to visit. Nearby, a 54-seat private cinema in Westlake, residences in Calabasas and Topanga, and a Camarillo private club run from one interface. Farther afield, a 25,000 square foot Bel Air estate with forty audio zones on one keypad and a Dolby Atmos creative campus in Miami.
Come by the studio.
Or tell us about your home and we'll come to you.
Tell us where your project stands and how you want to live in the home. Plans are welcome, never required.
