A boxing gym is one of the hardest rooms in commercial design. The sound is violent by nature, bag impact, coaching over music, music loud enough to drive a class, and the room has to convert all of it into energy instead of fatigue. People should leave lit up, not worn down by the space itself.

For this Mayweather Boxing + Fitness location in the Q Building, we joined Ronnie Baker of Dwelling Construction inside his build, carrying the interior design and the performance of the room while his team carried the construction. One team, one intent, two disciplines.

We designed the acoustics for the room's true life: impact and full-class sound levels controlled so the energy stays thrilling and speech stays clear, a coach heard over everything without shouting the room down. Lighting works in layers, atmosphere when the room needs drama, focus where the work happens. And the sound and control system shifts with the schedule in real time, each class format walking into a room already set for it.

Intensity, by design. The room works as hard as the people in it.
